If I could choose my dream home 🏡, it would be a modern villa located near the beach 🏝️. I have always loved the idea of waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying a breathtaking view 🌅 every morning. The house would be situated in a peaceful area, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, so I could truly relax and enjoy nature.

In terms of design, I would prefer something spacious and airy 🌬️, with large windows that allow plenty of natural light to come in. The house would have a minimalist interior 🛋️, featuring neutral colors and modern furniture. I would love an open-plan living room connected to a kitchen, so I could cook while chatting with family or guests.

One of the most important features of my ideal home would be its state-of-the-art facilities 🏢. I would love to have a private swimming pool 🏊 where I could relax on hot summer days. A home cinema 🎥 would also be a great addition, as I love watching movies. Another feature that I really want is a rooftop garden 🌳, where I could grow my own vegetables and enjoy fresh air.

Apart from that, I would make sure the house has an eco-friendly design 🌱, with solar panels for energy and a rainwater collection system. I believe that being environmentally conscious is important, so I want my home to be both beautiful and sustainable.

This house would be the perfect place for me because it combines luxury, comfort, and nature. I would have a peaceful and quiet environment while still having all the modern conveniences I need. If I had the opportunity, I would definitely build this home in the future!

Part 3: Discussion Questions

1. What’s the difference between homes in the past and nowadays?

Ideas

  • 🏚️ Traditional houses were simpler and made of natural materials.
  • 🏙️ Modern homes are bigger and equipped with smart technology.
  • 🏡 Past homes focused on family space, while modern homes emphasize individual privacy.

Collocations

  2. High-tech homes 🏠💡 (nhà công nghệ cao)
  3. Energy-efficient buildings 🔋 (công trình tiết kiệm năng lượng)

Additionally, people are becoming more aware of the environment, so many new homes are designed to be energy-efficient buildings 🔋, using solar panels and eco-friendly materials.

2. Why are apartments welcomed in some places but not in others?

Ideas

  • 🏙️ In big cities, apartments save space and are more affordable.

However, in the countryside, people prefer houses with gardens because there is more space. Additionally, in some places, the lack of infrastructure development 🚧 makes apartments less attractive because people still rely on private homes for comfort and convenience.
