I’d follow each lesson, then head to my home kitchen to practice under a mentor’s guidance, perhaps sharing videos with my instructor for feedback.
Where would I learn it? Ideally, I’d start locally at a reputable culinary institute—maybe Le Cordon Bleu’s satellite school in Vietnam. Once I’ve built a solid foundation, I might travel to France for an intensive summer program in Lyon or Paris. That international exposure would let me learn authentic methods directly in the milieu where these dishes originated.
Now, is it difficult to learn? It’s no walk in the park. French cooking demands precision, patience, and an understanding of chemical reactions—temperatures, emulsions, timings all matter. I anticipate some steep learning curves, such as controlling heat for delicate sauces or maintaining consistency in pastry dough. However, with consistent practice and proper instruction, I believe I can overcome these challenges.
