Sample Answer
To be honest, the most beautiful object I’ve come across recently is a hand‑painted ceramic vase from Bát Tràng village. I spotted it at a small artisan stall in Hanoi’s weekend night market, and I couldn’t take my eyes off it the moment the seller unwrapped it. It wasn’t huge or anything—maybe the height of my forearm—but the intricate patterns of lotus petals swirling around the body were just stunning. The vase had this subtle cream background with a glossy lacquer finish that caught the light and made the blues and golds pop.
It totally blew me away because every brushstroke felt deliberate; you could literally see where the artist lifted the brush, leaving tiny variations that gave the whole thing character. The neck of the vase tapered gently, almost like a flower bud about to bloom, and the base had delicate crackle glazing that added a vintage vibe. Honestly, the more I looked, the more I loved it—there were layers of cultural symbolism hidden in the design: the lotus for purity, the carp for perseverance. It wasn’t just pretty; it told a story.
I think it’s beautiful for a few reasons. First, it screams timeless beauty—it could sit in a modern apartment or an old Vietnamese wooden house and still look right at home. Second, it just speaks to me emotionally; it reminds me of my grandmother’s old porcelain bowls and all those meals we shared. And third, it represents real craftsmanship in a world of mass-produced stuff. Holding it, I felt connected to the artist, the village, and a slice of Vietnamese culture that you can literally put on your shelf. That mix of skill, history, and heart is what makes it beautiful to me.

-
Digital design tools (công cụ thiết kế số)
-

Sample Answer:
On the whole, you could say we see more “beautiful things” now because digital design tools let creators produce stunning visuals quickly. At the same time, a lot of it feels like mass‑produced aesthetics, so it can blur together. The past had fewer objects, but many had that nostalgic charm and were handmade with love. So yeah, we’ve got quantity now, but quality still depends on the maker. For me, both eras have their own kind of beauty.
